Ariane & Mike were married on Friday, August 22nd.  They had a beautiful ceremony & reception at Quidnessett Country Club.  I swear, with every wedding I photograph, it truly makes me appreciate how lucky I am to be blessed to be a part of a couple’s special day, to be the one capturing it and to be doing what I LOVE to do.  Ariane was a natural in front of the camera and the entire night was a blast!  Here are a few of my favorites from their wedding day:

Wendy & John are an amazing couple!  They were married on August 2nd and it truly was a honor to photograph their wedding day.  Their ceremony was held at a quaint little church in Barrington that I absolutely adored.  Then we went to the State House for some gorgeous photos before heading to the reception.  We had so much fun!  Here are some of my favorites from their day….

Here are some more interpretations from one of my photo groups.  To refresh your memory if you’re not familiar with them, what happens is we are given (or host) a daily or weekly photography contest/challenge and all that is given is a theme.  Then we interpret it however we would like.  It’s basically just something fun to do to make you think “outside of the box” when looking at ordinary things.

Amanda & Joe were married on June 21st.  After the ceremony, their portraits were taken back at Amanda’s parents house which had an amazing yard and the house was gorgeous as a backdrop.  The weather was beautiful, sunny and although it was almost 90 degrees (maybe more??) We had a lot of fun that day!!  Amanda made a beautiful bride and they all were a fun bunch to work with!  Here are a few of my favorites from their special day:

This is one of my faves of Amanda looking at her mother’s bridal portrait:

Now while Amanda was getting into her gown, her parent’s wedding album was a side table in the living room, so I decided to take a peek.  I saw the ring shot that her parents had on their wedding day and decided to reconstruct the same pose for them.

Wendy & John are a beautiful couple, both inside and out.  When I asked Wendy where they wanted to have their engagement session, I was THRILLED when she said she wanted it at the Crescent Carousel!  It was the first time I met John, as he is stationed in CT.  But I had a great time with them and here are a few of my favorites from the session…..

And I have to say…this is my favorite of the entire session because I feel that this portrait of Wendy & John truly captures the pure love that they share.  Simply beautiful…..
