It was a pleasure meeting Jill, who works at both a farm in Middletown and North Dartmouth.  This farm is beautiful and they also foster rescue horses.  How amazing to be able to do that?!  I have to admit, I am jealous. lol  I went to Middletown to meet up with Jill on Sept 25th at Ponies To Go (www.poniestogo.com) and spent some time with the horses and thank you, Jill, for chasing after the horses so I could get some great shots of them running! =)

Seeing how they weren’t show horses, it was nice to have a different perspective on this session.  To be able to get more laid back shots of them in the fields, running around…more in their natural environment.  I was also able to play around and get some great panning shots (for those of you who may not know what that is, panning is when your subject is in focus but everything else is blurred).

Here are a bunch of my favorites from the session:

This guy’s name is Pongo, after the 101 Dalmation movie.  I LOVED his markings, so I had to photograph them:

PUCKER UP!!

Nicole & RJ were married on August 31st.  They are a great couple with a beautiful family!  The ceremony & reception was at the Crowne Plaza in Warwick.  Every detail, from the flowers, to the centerpieces, to the cake and all the chocolate goodies on the chocolate buffet were absolutely picture perfect.  Here are a few of my faves from their day:

So last night, I went to the Brad Paisley concert with my in-laws.  Hubby couldn’t come because he was working.  So my SIL, Miranda, watched the boys for me and to return the favor, I’ll watch her kids sometime next month so they can have a date night. =)

Anyways, I didn’t want to chance taking my camera in last night because…well, ya can’t quite hide my big camera and lens and one, if they did find it, they would have either told me to bring it back to the car (and in the pouring rain, I didn’t want to do that) or they would threaten to take it away (over my dead body). LOL  So my MIL snuck in her little point & shoot camera.  So some of them aren’t the best of quality, some are a little blurry, but that’s ok, it was still worth a shot.  Ya know, I never was really fond of Jewel but I have to say, she puts on a pretty darn good show.   We were lucky enough to get seats that were 14 rows from the stage but our seats were right up against the main catwalk that was in the middle of the stage.  Our seats honestly couldn’t have been better. =)  For anyone who knows me, I love Brad Paisley & Tim McGraw so to finally see Brad in person, was…phenomenal!

So here are some pics:

Ok, so those are the best of the bunch that I took.  Aaaaaaaaaand….after Chuck Wicks was done singing, he shook a bunch of people’s hands, but look what I also got, a hat right??  Keep looking:

Chuck Wick’s autograph!!  Neat!!!  Too bad I couldn’t get Brad’s too but surprisingly he didn’t shake too many hands or sign autographs, he was just none stop until the end.  But Brad did give his cowboy hat to some lady (whom I was super jealous of. haha)  But I was stoked to just get this.  And I almost didn’t buy a hat because I barely wear them. Glad I did. LOL

Hey everyone, we are currently switching online providers AND I will be updating my website design in the next week or so.  I wanted to let you know that if you are having troubles emailing me thru my site, please feel free to email me directly at tj_sweet@verizon.net .  Thank you very much for your patience!

So this is the little farm that I did my first Equine photography session.  The barn and house area was beautiful and made for a great backdrop for some of the images.

The first horse was stunning…every little girl’s dream.  Heck, it was my dream even now! LOL  He was positively beautiful and he is just about to be trained for Dressage this coming winter.  I think he’s gonna be a show-stopper!  And the little guy was Abigail’s horse, I’ve been around horses for many years, but this is the first time I was around a mini.  They sure have spunk!  I got such a kick outta him.  He was so cute.

So this is my first session.  I think it may get me into trouble, as I’m gonna want to start riding again. HAHA  Here are a few of my favorites:

Ariane & Mike were married on Friday, August 22nd.  They had a beautiful ceremony & reception at Quidnessett Country Club.  I swear, with every wedding I photograph, it truly makes me appreciate how lucky I am to be blessed to be a part of a couple’s special day, to be the one capturing it and to be doing what I LOVE to do.  Ariane was a natural in front of the camera and the entire night was a blast!  Here are a few of my favorites from their wedding day:

Amanda & Joe were married on June 21st.  After the ceremony, their portraits were taken back at Amanda’s parents house which had an amazing yard and the house was gorgeous as a backdrop.  The weather was beautiful, sunny and although it was almost 90 degrees (maybe more??) We had a lot of fun that day!!  Amanda made a beautiful bride and they all were a fun bunch to work with!  Here are a few of my favorites from their special day:

This is one of my faves of Amanda looking at her mother’s bridal portrait:

Now while Amanda was getting into her gown, her parent’s wedding album was a side table in the living room, so I decided to take a peek.  I saw the ring shot that her parents had on their wedding day and decided to reconstruct the same pose for them.

Michelle is a dear friend of mine.  Her and Jay got married on July 19th and had a small intimate wedding.  The ceremony was on her mother’s party boat in the middle of her lake and then we went back to her mom’s house for a backyard wedding reception where everyone ate, drank, swam and went jet-skiing.  It was hot as anything that day but man, I’ve never seen Michelle happier since she’s been with Jay.  Here are a few of my favorites from their wedding day:

Monique & Jay will be getting married in May 2009. Monique is the youngest sister of one of my best friends. It was awesome to watch all my friends grow up and basically we all experienced the same things along the same time…getting married, parenthood. But to now see siblings experience it?? WOW!! I’ll be honored to be the one to capture her wedding day but I’ll still always remember her as lil’ Niquey…

Here are just a few from their engagement session:
