At the beginning of this past week, I met Tracey, Wayne and their lil’ man, Austin at Ledgemont Country Club in Seekonk, MA for their engagement session.  This will be their reception venue for their wedding in July 2011.  This country club is beautiful and I can only imagine what the wedding day will look like here!

Anytime my bridal couples have children, I love to incorporate them into the engagement session.  It’s just another GREAT opportunity to have a laid-back family portrait done before the big day.  Tracey & Wayne (and your parents), thank you for having the patience to bring him along.  He was soooo much fun to have there, even if we all got a great workout chasing after him!  I hope he had as much fun as we did! 🙂

I simply cannot WAIT for Tracey & Wayne’s wedding this coming year!  I have so many fun ideas that I know we’re all going to have a BLAST that day!  Here are a few of my favorites from the session.  Enjoy!!

This past Saturday was “dubbed” my last wedding of this season (expecting our 3rd son at the end of October).  All I can say is that this was a wedding to end my wedding season perfectly.  The Dolan & Matteson family…as well as friends…were AWESOME to work with.  Even moreso, this wedding will be memorable for me always due the true meaning of the gathering of loved ones.  To celebrate LOVE.  MEMORIES. LIFE….through laughter and tears.

Amanda & Chris, thank you for allowing me to capture one of the most important days of your lives, allowing me into your home and your hearts.  I truly will never forget your family.   With that being said, here is a lovely sneak peek of a photo video montage of your wedding day.  I don’t normally create this long of a photo video but given the circumstances, I think you all deserve it! ❤  Sit back, turn on your speakers and enjoy! 🙂

Last night, I had the pleasure of meeting up with Amanda & Chris for their engagement session at Amanda’s parents house.  Let me tell you, my photographer friends, this property is a photographer’s DREAM to photograph on!  Amazing location on top of an amazing family….I swear I have the best job in the world. 😉

Their wedding day is in just a few weeks and it certainly will be a memorable one.  I am truly honored that I will be the one to photograph Amanda & Chris’s wedding and I can’t wait to share those images with you that will last forever….

Amanda & Chris, here is a sneak peek of my favorites.  Enjoy!

On July 17th, I had the pleasure of photographing Amber & Anthony’s wedding.  We began at the Bay Voyage in Jamestown, Rhode Island.  Then we headed over to the fantastic Beavertail State Park for the ceremony.  This day couldn’t have been more perfect for Amber…the weather was beautiful, her closest friends & family witnessed their entire day and everyone looked positively stunning!

After the ceremony & formals, we went back to the Bay Voyage to enjoy the reception and festivities.  Amber, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your day by capturing each moment for you and your families.  Here is a sneak peek video of the photos for you.

ENJOY!!!

This is a family that I hold dear to my heart.  Erin & I have known each other for almost 2 yrs now.  I was originally hired to photograph her wedding but fate had it that Mike had to relocate in the service quickly, so they eloped.  The next time they returned back home in Rhode Island, we had an amazing time doing a Trash the Dress session (that can be viewed here: https://teresasweetphotography.wordpress.com/2008/10/24/erin-mikes-trash-the-dress-session/)

Ever since Erin announced she was pregnant, I was elated to here that she wanted family portraits done once they came back to RI after Celia was born.  Lil’ Celia is now almost 3 months.  We’ve kept a great relationship since the TTD session and I feel we’ve gotten to know each other pretty well and this couple truly is special to me.  I really had a hard time choosing some of my favorites from the session but these are the ones that stood out to me:

Yesterday, was a beautiful day FILLED with laughter!   I’ve known Tim & Lynn for a few years now and the two of them are always smiling, laughing and goofing around with everyone they know.  The two of them are such wonderful individuals and only become stronger when they are together.

We had a lovely day and even though the ceremony was rained out…the site moved everything indoors, formals had already been taken outside, everything was timed perfectly.  Lynn & Tim, words cannot describe how truly honored I was to be a part of your wedding day, capturing all the special moments between you, your family and friends.  Everyone kept saying how great your wedding was and how amazing the two of you are.  And I couldn’t agree more.

I’ll post still photos later this week but wanted to get a sneak peek on the blog for ya before you went on your honeymoon.  Have a fabulous time in Vegas! 😀

A bunch of photographers of all levels of experience got together today from a local photography group.  We met Jim Hazelwood, a well-known wedding photographer, at a the Proctor Mansion Inn in Wrentham, MA for an all-day workshop and had the pleasure of working with two fantastic models.  What is more fun than networking with local photographers and playing around with off-camera flash?! 😉

Here are some of my favorites from today’s workshop:

I had the pleasure of photographing Ariane & Mike’s wedding back in 2008 and I was THRILLED when Ariane emailed me months ago to tell me that they were expecting their first child and wanted to schedule a maternity session.  The lil’ boy in her belly is going to be one lucky boy to have Ariane & Mike as his parents….they are such a sweet couple and every time they look at each other, you can just see the little playful gleam of love in their eyes.

I have to say once again…that one of the greatest gifts in this business is to be able to photograph the most amazing days in a couple’s lives…their wedding day, their first born child and from there, family portraits.  I am truly blessed to capture those moments and be a part of memories that last forever…. 🙂

I wanted to share with you a few of my faves from today.  Enjoy!

Yesterday, I met up with Vanessa, Scott and their adorable black lab named Brody.  I absolutely cannot wait for Vanessa & Scott’s wedding in June!  Not only is this couple beautiful inside and out, they are very sweet to work with and so easy-going!  I can just envision their wedding day portraits now and am anxious for the day to arrive!  I swear…sometimes I don’t know who is more excited about the wedding day…the bride or me. 😉

We had fabulous weather yesterday at Goddard Park and Brody had a blast running around everywhere.  I’m definitely not used to photographing with dogs so it was quite amusing for me (and thank you to Scott and Vanessa for having the patience of Brody’s curiousity and playfulness).  I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with the results. 😀

On that note, here are a few of my faves from last night’s engagement session…Hope you enjoy them!

Every day, my life is consumed by my two greatest passions:  Family and Photography.  I truly believe that I have the best job in the world.  Being a mother, allows me to view the world differently.  You learn to cherish those small moments in a child’s life that are so EXCITING to experience, yet it gives me the greatest feeling to be able to capture those moments for myself and for the families around me.

Being a wife, reminds me of all the details you have to think of to plan a wedding.  All those emotions and how the smallest moments can make a difference on one of the most important days of your life.  Being able to be a part of your day, capturing those moments that you may not even realize are happening…is what my love for photography is all about.  A playful moment like the flowergirl playing Tag-You’re-It!, the bride and groom sharing a secret look, to the tear that may run down the cheek of the couples’ parents.  THOSE are the moments that you will look back on for the rest of your life and smile to yourself because you will be able to relive that loving feeling you felt on that exact day.

Photography is a passion of mine.  Pieces of art that I cannot wait to pass on to you.  🙂
