At the beginning of this past week, I met Tracey, Wayne and their lil’ man, Austin at Ledgemont Country Club in Seekonk, MA for their engagement session.  This will be their reception venue for their wedding in July 2011.  This country club is beautiful and I can only imagine what the wedding day will look like here!

Anytime my bridal couples have children, I love to incorporate them into the engagement session.  It’s just another GREAT opportunity to have a laid-back family portrait done before the big day.  Tracey & Wayne (and your parents), thank you for having the patience to bring him along.  He was soooo much fun to have there, even if we all got a great workout chasing after him!  I hope he had as much fun as we did! 🙂

I simply cannot WAIT for Tracey & Wayne’s wedding this coming year!  I have so many fun ideas that I know we’re all going to have a BLAST that day!  Here are a few of my favorites from the session.  Enjoy!!

“A little cup of friendship
With a bag of tea
When you drink this
Think of love from me.”

I had SUCH a blast yesterday!  After having to reschedule this session a few times, due to the weather, we FINALLY beat Mother Nature! lol  It was a beautiful, sunny day in the morning and then in the afternoon, it got cloudy and grey (but we photogs LOVE that weather).  All I kept praying was that we could beat the rain.

A local apple orchard set the scene for this WONDERFUL and FUN tea party session!  I couldn’t have asked for a better location.  I don’t know who had more fun, myself or the girls! 🙂  Nothing is better for little girls than to be able to play dress up and have a tea party with cookies and lemonade to share with a friend.

Here are a few of my favorites:

It’s BABY FEVER!  I swear, I’ve photographed more maternity sessions this past month than I have all year long and I am loving it!  This beautiful Momma-to-be is due on Oct 16th and what they are having…is a surprise!  I cannot wait to find out if they have a boy or girl!  When I met Melissa and Cliff, it was great to hear that she wanted to be a little more artistic as she has a great interest of photography and was just soaking it all in (Melissa, I was serious when I said I’d be happy to help you learn your DSLR camera). 😉

It’s a small world, as we found out that one of Justin’s classmates from last year (now they are in different class but still same grade, obviously), is the nephew of Melissa.  We adore her nephew and Justin speaks very highly of him! 🙂

Melissa & Cliff were great sports, letting me try a few new ideas, lighting techniques, having them up & down on the floor, etc etc.  So THANK YOU for putting up with my craziness. 🙂  Here are a few of my favorites from your session.  Enjoy!

On Sunday, I had the pleasure of meeting Erin, David and Michelle.  Erin attended my son’s Auction Gala event back in May, where she placed a bid and won a family portrait from me.  So needless to say, when she contacted me to schedule the session, I was very excited to meet her!  Even moreso, when I heard that her step-daughter, Michelle, was visiting from Germany.

Michelle was the sweetest girl, so polite and quiet but you could definitely tell there was a cute, playful side to her.  And how adorable is her dress?!  Love it!

Erin, it was great to finally meet you and your beautiful family!  Here is a quick peek at a couple of my favorites from the session.   Enjoy!

Every once in a while, you get that reeeeeeeeeally fun client.  Us photographers know what I mean…the one that says, “Let’s try something different.  I don’t want the every day type of photos…I’m open to anything!”  When I hear that, I swear it’s like a warm fuzzy feeling. lol  While at the session, I do still try to get a few “traditional” portraits since it’s nice to have a wide variety but it’s even more fun to try new things.

I had the pleasure of photographing Chrissie and Dan today, along with their adorable dog, Winnie.  They are expecting their first child, a boy, at the beginning of November!  We had such a BEAUTIFUL day outside…it was picture perfect.  You all know me…I have a very difficult time narrowing down my favorites for a sneak peek.  I really need to try to do less, but honestly, what’s the fun in holding back?! 😛  There’s more to see from the session for Chrissie and Dan, but these are my faves….ENJOY!

Last night, I had the pleasure of meeting up with Amanda & Chris for their engagement session at Amanda’s parents house.  Let me tell you, my photographer friends, this property is a photographer’s DREAM to photograph on!  Amazing location on top of an amazing family….I swear I have the best job in the world. 😉

Their wedding day is in just a few weeks and it certainly will be a memorable one.  I am truly honored that I will be the one to photograph Amanda & Chris’s wedding and I can’t wait to share those images with you that will last forever….

Amanda & Chris, here is a sneak peek of my favorites.  Enjoy!

On July 17th, I had the pleasure of photographing Amber & Anthony’s wedding.  We began at the Bay Voyage in Jamestown, Rhode Island.  Then we headed over to the fantastic Beavertail State Park for the ceremony.  This day couldn’t have been more perfect for Amber…the weather was beautiful, her closest friends & family witnessed their entire day and everyone looked positively stunning!

After the ceremony & formals, we went back to the Bay Voyage to enjoy the reception and festivities.  Amber, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your day by capturing each moment for you and your families.  Here is a sneak peek video of the photos for you.

ENJOY!!!

I met a fabulous family at today’s session….I swear, us photogs have the best job in the world! Meet Sharon, Kevin and their lil’ man, Jack (how I love that name…).

Jack was happy as could be, although at times, he did look at me like he was thinking “Who is this crazy lady??” 😉 haha I seriously could not get enough of lil’ Jack as he was a joy to photograph and I loved hearing the “stories” he was trying to tell. We even got lucky and got some quick sleeping photos at the end of the session.

Sharon, here are a few photos of your session for your friends and family. Enjoy!!

Gina & I have known each other for a short time now from a local photography group and I was excited to finally meet her two boys (and hubby of course). 😉 These little men definitely made me work…haha. Four yrs old and two yrs old is a challenge to photograph but so much fun! And let me tell ya, they can make some pretty scary monster noises! LOL

Gina, your entire family were troopers for the 95 degree weather so thank you for taking the time to allow me to photograph your beautiful family! Here’s a sneak peek for you…more to come soon!

On Wednesday, I had the honor to photograph a beautiful little girl and her lovely family.  I am a participating photographer of The Littlest Heroes Project, which is a non-profit organization made up of professional photographers that provide portrait sessions to our nation’s littlest heroes.  The children.  These amazing children have touched the lives of so many people and yet they don’t even realize it. 🙂  Children from all around the US that are struggling or have struggled with an illness or disability may be eligible for these sessions.  Please visit The Littlest Heroes Project website to find out more info and if you’re a photographer, I highly suggest becoming a part of this fantastic organization!

With that aside, here is Miss *R* and her family.  Miss *R* was diagnosed in 2008 with a rare liver cancer called Hepatoblastoma and now, she’s been in remission for almost a year and a half.  After meeting Miss *R* and her family, I can easily see how she could melt anyone’s heart.

**More photos will be sent to TLH project team so keep an eye out to see if she is the Featured Hero!**
